The "Gallup" World Sentiment Report 2022 showed that the feelings of stress, sadness, anger, anxiety, and physical pain that people experience daily, recorded a historical figure.
The ranking of the ten countries most exposed to negative feelings is as follows: Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Sierra Leone, Jordan, Turkey, then Bangladesh, Ecuador, Guinea, and finally Benin.
On the other hand, the ten countries least vulnerable to negative experiences were as follows: Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, Russia and South Africa, then Lithuania, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, Mauritius, Kosovo, Taiwan, and Kazakhstan.
The report revealed that 42% of those surveyed said that they faced a lot of anxiety or stress, 41%, and about a third said they had experienced physical pain 31%, while more than a quarter of the respondents in the survey faced feelings of sadness 28%, and about a quarter felt angry 23% .
The negative experiences experienced by people set a new record on the scale of the organization, as it was at 30 points in 2017 and 2018, to rise, respectively, until it reached 33 points in 2022/2021.
The institution’s statistics indicated that negative feelings have not decreased since its measurements began in 2006 only twice, the first in 2007, and the second in 2014.
