    The Supreme Judicial Council held its thirteenth session, held at  eight o'clock on Sunday morning, headed by the President of the Federal Court of Cassation, Judge Faiq Zaidan , during which:
    1. The son of the Council, a member of the Federal Court of Cassation, the late Miqdad Badr Hamid and the Vice-President of the Baghdad Appeals Court / Rusafa, the late Baligh Hamdi Hikmat The Council praised their outstanding performance, especially in the phase of confronting terrorism.
    2. The Council congratulated Mr. Raed Hamid Hussein, Tasneema, as the head of the Nineveh Appeals Court.
    3. The Council approved the promotion of a number of judges and members of the Public Prosecution Office and the granting of judicial positions that require approval of formations in some of the Presidencies of Appeal, according to the proposal submitted by the Appeals Presidency. The transfer and assignment of a number of judges and members of the Public Prosecution were also approved based on the requirements of the public interest.
