    {Local: Al Furat News} The Supreme Judicial Council held its thirteenth session, held in attendance, at eight thirty in the morning, today, Monday, under the chairmanship of the President of the Federal Court of Cassation, Faiq Zaidan.

    And he continued, "The Council decided to take into account the duration of vacations and their recurrence when considering the eligibility of judges and members of the Public Prosecution to be promoted from one category to another, while the Council directed investigative judges to cooperate with the Dental Syndicate in Iraq to close unlicensed clinics and in violation of the law and prevent those who do not hold a recognized license. from the union to practice the profession. 
    The statement stressed, "to elect experts with competence and to make them understand that their task is limited to technical issues and not legal issues," noting that "the council decided to organize a workshop at the Judicial Development Institute on the issue of proving parentage and adopting DNA analysis in these issues in the presence of the senior judge. In the Federal Court of Cassation, the first judges in the Personal Status Court, and representatives from the forensic medicine. 
    He pointed out that "the council decided to authorize the heads of the appeal areas to assess the issue of the sabbatical of judges, heads of the higher committees for social protection, whether it is full-time or partial, each case on its own."
