    Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the launch of the electronic inquiry system.
    The spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement, "Based on the government's tendency to automate work in the ministries of the Iraqi state, and in implementation of the curriculum of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop work in the ministry's departments, especially the consular department in it and our missions working abroad, and to facilitate consular work procedures to serve Iraqi citizens, And it reduces the effort and time for its employees, and with the direct guidance of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein to the ICASS team, and to complete the team’s work in automating the work of the consular department, the ministry launched an inquiry system to complement the previous three systems (audit, citizen, and authentication). .
    He added, "The system will enable citizens to inquire about the authenticity of the issuance of documents issued by our consular missions operating abroad, and follow up on them, and follow up on all correspondences that were made about them and received by the ministries of the state and other concerned parties without the need to visit the ministry building."
    He explained that "this is done through: -
