    The head of the Iranian-Iraqi Joint Chamber of Commerce, Yahya Al-Ishaq, announced that the volume of trade exchange with Iraq has improved in light of the efforts made, and with the continuation of this pace, it will reach $10 billion until the end of this year.
    Al-Ishaq said in a statement, "Trade between Iran and Iraq aims to reach 20 billion dollars, and he said: The determination of economic activists in this field is consistent with the goals of officials of the two countries, and we have previous experiences such as achieving 14 billion dollars a year."
    Referring to the ups and downs of trade between the two countries, he said: "One of the reasons for the decline in trade statistics compared to last year is the decline in global trade, which also affected Iran. On the other hand, the deletion of electricity and energy export statistics from trade with Iraq caused a change Numbers".
    Al-Ishaq stated that the ban on exporting and importing some commodities in the laws of the two countries increased the change in trade statistics, and explained: Efforts are being made to reach $10 billion in trade between the two countries until the end of the year, and the improvement in performance confirms this.
    The head of the Iranian-Iraqi Joint Chamber of Commerce confirmed that the trade problems between the two countries had been resolved and said: "The pace of exchanges shows the growth of Iranian-Iraqi trade and the situation is going well."
    Referring to the Iraqi Prime Minister's visit to Iran some time ago, he said: 9 axes were discussed in this section, some of which are political and security, but during this visit joint investments and oil cooperation in the economic sector were discussed. On the other hand, changes were also observed in the export process.
    Al-Ishaq said: In general, Iran and Iraq agreed to improve relations and change the monetary and banking conditions so that the central banks of the two countries work to facilitate the current conditions and solve problems.
