    Omar Colby, a member of the Finance Committee for the Justice Group bloc in the Kurdistan Parliament, said during a press conference held in Sulaymaniyah and followed by (Baghdad Today), that “the value of the region's oil exports, after deducting the dues of oil companies, amounted to 464 million dollars, equivalent to 700 billion Iraqi dinars, at a price of 80.” dollars per barrel.
    He added: “As for the region's internal imports, according to official government data, customs imports amounted to 200 billion dinars, taxes 60 billion dinars, and fees 200 billion dinars, while the value of the coalition forces' aid to the Peshmerga forces was 26 billion dinars, which means that the value of non-oil imports 486 billion dinars for the month of December.
    And he explained that “the total oil and non-oil imports are about one trillion and 186 billion Iraqi dinars,” inferring “the absence of justification for delaying employee salaries in the region.”
    Accordingly, it turns out that non-oil revenues for Kurdistan are equivalent to about 41% and oil revenues only 59%, which is a big difference from federal revenues in which oil revenues constitute 96% compared to only 4% for non-oil revenues. .
    The monthly salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region amount to 895 billion dinars, which means that the revenues generated for the region cover salaries by 132%.
