    Baghdad today - Baghdad 
    Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi announced today, Saturday, the date for settling the selection of heads of parliamentary committees. 
    An informed source told (Baghdad Today) that "Al-Halbousi instructed during the parliament session held today that tomorrow, Sunday, be the date for deciding the selection of the heads of parliamentary committees." 
    The Iraqi Parliament held its session today, Saturday, headed by Al-Halbousi, and in the presence of 199 deputies. 
    While the media department of the parliament announced in a statement received (Baghdad Today) that "the House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement to avoid double taxation with regard to taxes imposed on income and the prevention of tax evasion between the governments of Iraq and the Netherlands, and it has also completed the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention on the establishment of an International Fund for Compensation for Oil Pollution Damage of 1992.
