    Economy News-Baghdad
Yesterday, Sunday, Bloomberg news agency reported that the Saudi Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, stated that the decision of the OPEC Plus coalition to reduce oil production by about two million barrels per day during last October has been proven correct.
And the Saudi minister continued during his statements that the OPEC Plus alliance does not interfere in politics and does not work to control crude oil prices, adding that the most important lesson that must be learned in the current period is the importance of confidence in the OPEC Plus alliance and its role in maintaining market balance.
At the same time, the Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, stressed during his statements that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will remain cautious about increasing oil production during the coming period, despite global expectations that the rise in global demand will soon lead to a rise in the price of oil to more than 100 dollars a barrel.
It should be noted that the OPEC Plus coalition decided last October to reduce crude oil production by about two million barrels per day, starting from November 2022, and cooperation between the parties to the alliance was extended until the end of 2023, which sparked strong criticism from the United States and other consumers of crude oil in concerns. From the rise in price levels as a result of the recovery in global demand for crude oil.
