    The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, directed, on Wednesday, that strict legal measures be taken against those who publish content that offends public taste and constitute immoral practices, in addition to insulting citizens and state institutions with various titles and names.

    According to a document issued by the Judicial Council, of which “NAS” obtained a copy (February 8, 2023), “it was observed through media monitoring that social media sites were used to publish contents that offend public taste and constitute immoral practices in addition to deliberate abuse and in violation of the law of citizens and state institutions.” Therefore, strict legal measures were required to be taken against those who commit these crimes, in a way that ensures the achievement of public deterrence.
