The Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, contingent upon the decision to launch the health insurance project by adjusting his status based on the decision of the Federal Court.

Al-Hasnawi said in a statement to the official newspaper, followed by “Nass” (February 18, 2023), that “the ministry has begun the basic first steps to implement the health insurance law, most notably the accreditation of health institutions as it is a key factor in the success of health insurance,” referring to “a workshop to implement the accreditation system.” Which is one of the foundations on which the health insurance relies.
He stressed that "the electronic connection of this project will take place, and the problem is still in the Federal Court after the appeal that was submitted to the law," explaining that "the ministry is awaiting the court's decision and adapting the status of the law based on the decision that will be issued by it."
