{Politics: Al Furat News} Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani chaired the first session of the Supreme Committee for Coordination between the Council of Ministers, federations and trade unions.
Al-Sudani's media office said in a statement, of which Al-Furat News received a copy, that "the session witnessed discussing the mechanisms to support federations and unions to carry out their role and perform their desired tasks, as well as discussing the topics on the agenda, which included working papers presented by a number of federations and unions' heads." .
During the session, Al-Sudani referred to "the government's vision of the importance of coordination with federations and unions, as they represent the shadow ministries and the backing and supportive of the government's plans in implementing its government program in the axes of reform, development, service delivery and fighting corruption."
Al-Sudani directed "to hold continuous meetings between federations, unions, and sectoral government agencies to mature ideas related to programs and projects, with the aim of presenting the necessary ones to the Council of Ministers to take the necessary decisions in their regard."
