    Economy News - Baghdad
    The Investment Authority announced, on Monday, that there are bilateral agreements with Saudi Arabia that will be implemented within the legal contexts aimed at "encouraging the investment environment and attracting Saudi capital and investors to Iraq."
    The official spokesman for the authority, Muthanna Al-Ghanmi, said, "The head of the National Investment Commission continues his meetings and the accompanying delegation with Saudi officials during his current visit to the Kingdom to activate investment and economic cooperation between Baghdad and Riyadh."
    He added, "The aim of the Iraqi delegation's visit is to implement a joint work program with the Saudi investment, commercial and economic sectors to advance development partnerships in the fields of oil, electricity, trade, agriculture, construction and housing."
    Al-Ghanimi continued, "There are bilateral agreements with the Saudi side that will be implemented within the legal contexts aimed at encouraging the investment environment and attracting Saudi capital and investors to Iraq."
