Today, Sunday, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan called on the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani to give more opportunity to the Kurdistan region, while revealing the agendas of the region's delegation's visit to Baghdad.
"The visit of the delegation of the regional government to Baghdad is a friendly visit to discuss oil files and the region's share of the general budget, as well as Article 140," said Union Representative Kurdo Omar.
She added, "The stronger the relationship between the federal and regional governments, this is reflected in the Iraqi and Kurdish societies."
And she added, “We hope that the government of Shia’a al-Sudani will give more opportunity to the Kurdistan region in the oil and budget files, in addition to Article 140 of the constitution related to the disputed areas.”
