    Voice of Iraqi Council of Representatives, on Tuesday, a Sadrist candidate Mohsen al-Shammari bird minister of water resources.

    A parliamentary source said that "the House of Representatives voted today, during its regular fourteen of the first legislative year, headed by Saleem al-Jubouri and the presence of Prime Minister Haider Abadi, a Sadrist candidate Mohsen al-Shammari bird minister of water resources."

    He added that "al-Shammari got 163 votes out of 251 votes."

    {Baghdad: Euphrates News} House of Representatives voted in its meeting on Monday to give confidence to the candidate of the Liberal bloc Mohsen Bird and chosen as minister of water resources, while the failed candidates Jaber al-Jabri to the Ministry of Defense and Riad Ghraib to the Ministry of the Interior, and Ali al-Adeeb of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to get a majority of votes, and raise Parliament session to next Thursday.


    [ltr]According to a statement of the Council received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it today that "the House of Representatives voted at its fifth session, held on Tuesday, 16/09/2014, headed by Saleem al-Jubouri, head of the Council and in the presence of 285 deputies to give confidence to the Minister of Water Resources and not given to the candidates of the Ministries of Interior and Defense and tourism, while the House of Representatives led bench and ministers absent from the session giving confidence sworn.

    At the outset of the meeting welcomed the presence of al-Jubouri, Haider Abadi, head of the Council of Ministers meeting of the Council of Representatives and the time commitment he made to provide security minister within the cabinet reshuffle within a week.

    On the other hand the president of the Council for the allocation of a hearing on Thursday to discuss the evaluation of the performance of the House of Representatives during the past eight years.

    Then led the members of the House of Representatives who occupy positions in government was sworn in for membership, and they both gentlemen Saadoun Guillard and just Mhodr and Ali Shukri Ali al-Adeeb and Azzedine state and Najm al-Din Omar sworn.

    Also sworn in Ministers who have been voting for them could not have sworn they both gentlemen Hussain al-Shahristani and Muhammad Mahdi al-Bayati.

    He Abadi that during the last period offered the names of the candidates respectable representing blocs in the Parliament, but we had a vision to this subject, noting that the security file is one of the more files seriousness that requires processing, noting he had a two candidates possess the independence and professionalism they can harmony with the general commander of the forces Armed, explaining that he had been instructed to choose the security minister for a general discussion with with the blocks but without intervention by choice.

    For his part, praised First Deputy Speaker Sheikh Hamoudi to fulfill Abadi his pledge to nominate candidates for security ministries, pointing to the importance that is committed to the parliamentary blocs support the ministry of security, pointing to not display the name of the Minister of Interior to the National Alliance, calling for the postponement of the vote on the security minister to day Thursday within the understandings between the blocks.

    After the presentation Abadi to the names of candidates for ministerial positions vacant to vote do not vote for the Council to fill MP Riad Ghraib for the post of interior minister for receiving 117 votes out of 245 deputies, got Jaber al-Jabri candidate for the post of defense minister on 108 votes from out of 251 deputies, while did not get Ali al-Adeeb, the approval of the Council to take up the post of Minister of Tourism for receiving 78 votes out of 250 deputies.

    And the granting of the House of Representatives confidence to Mr. Mohsen bird gesture for the post of Minister of Water Resources after receiving 162 votes out of 250 deputies.

    In turn, stressed the Prime Minister to consult his parliamentary blocs on the names of the security minister and presented in the session close.

    President al-Jubouri, then decided to display the names of security ministers at a meeting next Thursday at the latest. The Presidency decided to adjourn the meeting to next Thursday 18-9-2014.
