Today, Saturday, the head of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, revealed the latest developments in approving the budget law by the House of Representatives, and the course of action on it.
Al-Atwani told "Baghdad Today", that "after the first reading of the budget law, the Parliamentary Finance Committee has been working during these days to submit a report to the House of Representatives, and this report is about the course of the budget and what it included, and requests through it to conduct the second reading, so that the discussion process takes place." .
He explained, "After that, the Parliamentary Finance Committee proceeds with its tasks, which is reading in detail the budget and summoning the relevant ministries, which we see as important and their financial allocations are great in order to discuss their goals, and this is all in order to pressure expenditures and reduce the deficit in the budget."
