The Bashmakh border crossing administration in Sulaymaniyah Governorate confirmed, on Friday, that the trade movement between the Kurdistan region and Iran is scheduled to resume tomorrow, after a 24-hour hiatus.
The port administration said, in a statement received by the information agency, that "commercial and customs activities were suspended for a period of 24 hours on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, but business will return to normal as of the second day of Eid al-Fitr.”
The statement indicated, "In the meantime, the tourism movement was not suspended at the border crossings, but rather it was continuing during the past 24 hours." Ended / 25
