    Today, Saturday, Oil Minister Hayan Abdel-Ghani revealed the fate of the sums of social benefits and the mechanism for disbursing them to serve the citizen. 
    Abdul-Ghani confirmed to (Baghdad Today) "his keenness to spend the amounts of social benefits for the purpose of implementing strategic projects that will have a great impact in serving the citizen," noting that "one of the most important projects that will be completed soon is the Zubair bridge implemented by his ministry." 
    The Minister of Oil said, "The amounts of social benefits have been prepared for them with plans to disburse them in important chapters, especially after they became ten billion dinars for each field instead of five billion." 
    Abdul-Ghani praised "the approval of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, to his request regarding increasing the amounts of benefits," noting that "these amounts should go to building infrastructure, especially to serve the community near the fields from which these amounts will be spent." 
    The Minister of Oil added that "his ministry has coordination with Basra Governorate, as well as the rest of the local governments in the south and other provinces that have oil fields for the purpose of identifying projects that can be used to serve the citizen." 
    Earlier, Abdel-Ghani indicated that the ministry sought to increase the allocation of social benefits for oil licensing rounds from $5 million to $10 million, stressing the upgrading of the level of public services provided to citizens of areas close to the oil fields, support for community and health initiatives, and the organization of various workshops to train and rehabilitate the residents of those areas. in different disciplines.
