The Minister of Interior issues a package of directives related to the mechanism for disbursing the 2023 budget

{Umniah: Al Furat News} Today, Saturday, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, chaired a meeting at the ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of all the ministry’s undersecretaries and a number of leaders and directors, to discuss the mechanism for disbursing the 2023 budget of the ministry.

According to the ministerial statement, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, that: "Al-Shammari is the authorities concerned with preserving public money and disbursing funds in the appropriate place."
Al-Shammari stressed, "supporting the governorates that have received the security file and providing their necessary needs," stressing "attention to external controls in these governorates, as well as police stations and service departments in them, and to present these projects as soon as possible."
He also directed, to "take care of the Iraqi borders and provide the border command with sums of money for the purpose of supporting its projects, as well as supporting the work of the Directorate for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances."
Al-Sudani issued "orders stipulating that the Department of Control and Internal Audit in the Ministry of Interior be the authority responsible for auditing the disbursement of funds among all related matters in this field."
