A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mustafa Jabbar Sanad, confirmed, on Saturday, that the government will continue to discuss the draft law on the salary scale for employees, indicating that the implementation of the law needs to allocate 10 trillion dinars.

Sanad said, in a press statement, that "the application of the new salary scale needs additional financial allocations estimated at about 10 trillion dinars as a maximum."

He added, "Achieving justice among the segments of employees deserves the government's expediting the completion of the new salary scale."

Sanad indicated that "the law does not exist with the House of Representatives, and if it arrives, it cannot be included in the budget because there are not enough allocations."
