Al-Hamami said in a press interview, "Iraq lacks laws regulating birth control in Iraq," pointing out that "increasing awareness among Iraqis of the importance of birth control is the basis for controlling the high population growth in Iraq."
He added, "It is the government's duty to find real remedies for this through laws and legislation."
Al-Hamami pointed out that "birth control needs workshops and plans to limit the rise in population growth."
