    Today, Monday, the director of the Karbala refinery, Muhammad Fazaa, confirmed the continuation of work in the refinery in order to operate it at full capacity, indicating that the refinery administration and the ministry directed that our production be 9 million liters of gasoline to meet 60% of our import needs.
    Fazza told (Baghdad Today) that "there is interest on the part of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul Ghani al-Sawad in this refinery, as it is a long-awaited and fulfilled dream," noting that "Iraq used to import 15 million liters of gasoline, but today and when the operation is completed The refinery is at full capacity, and 60% of the imported gasoline will be dispensed with.
    And he continued, "There will be sufficiency of kerosene and kerosene when completing the operation of the stages of this giant refinery, as there will be self-sufficiency in the future, especially after operating the Baiji refineries and projects in Basra and others."
