    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Today, Saturday, the House of Representatives will resume its regular sessions after the end of its legislative recess, which lasted for a full month.
"There are many important laws awaiting enactment by the House of Representatives with the start of the new legislative season," said Karim Aliwi, a deputy from the Al-Fatah Alliance, noting that "there are laws that have political differences and have been postponed since the previous sessions."
Aliwi explained that "the most prominent controversial laws that the House of Representatives intends to resolve during its current parliamentary session are (the oil and gas law, the general amnesty law, the slum ownership law, the information crimes law, and the freedom of demonstration and expression law)."
He pointed out, "There is a real political desire to settle these laws and resolve differences over them during the next stage, so that they will see the light soon."
Today, Saturday, the House of Representatives is scheduled to hold its session No. (1) of its second legislative term / the second legislative year / the fifth electoral session, and on its agenda are seven projects.
