"The Iraqi-Jordanian relations are renewed," al-Khasawneh said in a press conference held with Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani in Baghdad and attended by Mawazine News, stressing "the importance of military coordination to combat terrorism."
He added, "We suffer from drugs, and cooperation must be strengthened to confront this threat," noting that "we discussed the Iraqi needs for renewable energy."
"We discussed the tripartite mechanisms that bring us together with Iraq and Egypt," he said, pointing out that "the second phase of electrical interconnection with Iraq is proceeding rapidly."
