Al-Aqili told Al-Maalouma, "The issue of Khawr Abd Allah is still complex, and the vision of the surveyors regarding defining the dividing point between Iraq and Kuwait has not been worked out, as it stipulated defining the maritime borders at the point of the taluk line, which represents the deepest marine point between the two countries."
He added, "The continuation of the situation as it is will lead to failure in the great port of Faw, as well as the development project that is being worked on, but it will face a major obstacle represented by the incense of Abdullah, which has become a threat to the economy of Iraq."
And he indicated that "there are political parties that have headed towards Kuwait during the past decade in order to settle the affairs of Khawr Abd Allah and achieve personal benefits and obtain gifts with the aim of overlooking the issue and achieving the benefit of Kuwait." ended 25 n
