    The Minister of Justice, Dr. Khaled Shawani visited the Presidency of the Wasit Appeal Court, and his meeting with the head of the court, Judge Muhammad Handal Aziz Al-Shammari, and a number of judges in the province. During the meeting, they discussed strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two sides in accordance with the legal frameworks.
    The Minister of Justice praised the role of the Iraqi judiciary in establishing the democratic process, which gave a positive image by imposing the rule of law and strengthening the principle of the independence of the judiciary, expressing its sovereignty in cooperation and joint coordination between the ministry and the court.
    For his part, the head of the Wasit Court of Appeal appreciated the efforts made by His Excellency the Minister to provide work requirements in a way that supports government institutions and enhances the citizen's confidence in the ministry's departments, expressing his willingness to cooperate and coordinate between the two parties to serve the public interest.
