    BAGHDAD - ((eighth day))
    A source close to Prime Minister al-Abadi he signed the dismissal (132), a senior officer in the Iraqi army, including three officers of the rank of the team and (24) an officer with the rank of brigade and a brigade corner.
    The source said in a statement ((eighth day)) that "Abadi issued the list after returning from New York, which has had to post acts of the General Assembly of the UN to purge the armed forces of corrupt officers or those who do not hold any professional competence."
    He added that "al-Abadi cleansing campaign began the new Iraqi ground forces commander Lt. Gen. Ali Ghaidan and Deputy Army Chief of Staff Gen. Abboud Qanbar to include far (132) close to the officers, including former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki."
    The source explained that "(24) an officer with the rank of brigade and a brigade of the corner and the deans and colonels were dismissed or referred for retirement after a report issued by a special committee formed by Abadi and showed their involvement in crimes against humanity and involvement in business deals and their interference in the political process as well as the ethical scandals".
