    The Ministry of Transport intends to activate the electronic reservation service for Iraqi Airways flights at the end of this year.

    And the director of the media office at the ministry, Maytham Al-Safi, stated in a statement to the official newspaper, followed by “NAS” on Monday (August 21, 2023), that “the traveler will be able to book electronically and not bear the trouble of going to the airline offices for reservations inside and outside the country,” noting that “a new plane will be received by the airline.” Iraqi Air Force during next September to join its air fleet, and its eleven Boeing and Airbus counterparts.  
      
    He explained that "Iraqi Airways is distinguished by being the only company in the world that has not recorded any problems in the air, in addition to playing a major role in several areas, such as transporting cancer patients, for example, with a reduction of about 90 percent, and the wounded of the armed forces by a large reduction as well, as well as a reduction Tickets for people with special needs are reduced by 50 percent, despite the fact that the company relies on a self-financing system.

And safety, not to mention that all the airline's operating planes are of modern models, and they entered service during the current year 2023.  
      
    And Al-Safi added, "The ministry launched, through the Ur electronic platform, the lost luggage service that allows the traveler on Iraqi Airways to easily and easily follow up on the status of his luggage."
