Today, Friday (August 25, 2023), the former spokesman for the International Coalition, Colonel Miles Caggins, described the information about US military movements and intentions to launch military operations in Iraq as "rumors," noting that these rumors were launched by those close to Iran because they do not want the US presence in Iraq to continue. He explained that "the American contingent that came is combative and most of it will be in Syria," noting that "the undeclared goal of the forces is to establish a region on the border with Syria."
