Al-Battat said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “There is an agreement with the Presidency of Parliament to include the draft red card law for first reading during the upcoming parliament sessions.”
He added, "The Parliamentary Committee of Martyrs, Prisoners and Victims addressed the Ministry of Defense by sending all the data and preparing those with red cards."
Al-Battat pointed out that “his committee seeks to do justice to this segment and guarantee their rights on a par with other segments.”
Al-Battat pointed out, “The law will be presented for the first reading in the coming days, and there is agreement to include it on the agenda of the sessions.”
