She added, "The meeting included a presentation of the water situation in the country in terms of storage in Iraqi dams and meteorological forecasts for the coming period, and it was agreed to approve an agricultural plan starting from 10-1-2023. My agencies: 1- Cultivation of 1.5 million dunams
on surface water.
2- Agriculture 4 million dunums of groundwater.
She pointed out “the necessity of continuing to provide water for other needs for civil and environmental uses and watering orchards with an area of 1.1 million dunams.” It
was also recommended that “the necessity of cooperation between the two ministries to make the agricultural season a success, use modern technologies in agriculture and prevent violations of all kinds.” .
