The Legal Committee announced that the government needs 8 and a half trillion dinars to adjust salaries.
A member of the Legal Committee, Murtada Al-Saadi, said in a press interview, “The Legal Committee regarding the Retirement Law decided to host the Director of Public Retirement to find out the aspects related to the paragraphs that were objected to regarding the recent Retirement Law.”
He explained, “Most of the financial laws are suspended at the present time, but the retirement law has become an urgent situation and requires major treatment regarding the salaries of presidencies and other entities with independent bodies and high salaries.”
He stressed, “According to preliminary information, we need 8 and a half trillion dinars to adjust salaries.[/rtl]
