    From a legal perspective, expert Ali Jaber Al-Tamimi explained to Al-Maalouma: “Federal Court Decision No. 105 of 2023, which abolished Law No. 42 of 2013 regarding the ratification of the Khor Abdullah Agreement, does not mean canceling the agreement, but rather suspending its ratification by Parliament by a two-thirds majority.” According to Article 61 (fourth) of the Constitution, meaning that this decision brought matters back to square one after the conclusion of the agreement in 2012, in addition to the text of the agreement in Article 14 of it requiring the referral of any dispute over the application or interpretation of the agreement or the failure to reach a solution regarding it, it shall be referred The subject is to the Court of the Sea. As for canceling the agreement or amending it, it was stipulated in Article 16 of this agreement, which required the other party to be notified of that for a period of 6 months, and the same applies to the amendment, provided that the other party agrees to that.” Ended 25 n
