    Information / Baghdad...
Political favoritism in front of Kuwaiti money is a weak point for some who seek to control the country’s capabilities, sell its lands to the Kuwaiti side, and cover up corruption in the Khor Abdullah file, in addition to their attempts to influence the Federal Court with the aim of dropping the lawsuit or withdrawing its decisions regarding the ratification of the Khor Abdullah agreement.

Historical evidence confirms that the agreement was built on a wrong foundation and pushed Kuwait to cross the Iraqi border more than once without taking measures to guarantee each country its official borders.
A member of the Rights Movement, Hussein Ali Al-Karaawi, told Al-Ma’louma, “The Khor Abdullah issue, regardless of the positions of America and the Gulf states and their standing by Kuwait in this issue, the blame and responsibility falls on the Iraqi officials, especially those who serve the Kuwaiti side.” In this case."
He added, "Some politicians are traitors who are trying in every way to influence the decision of the Federal Court in order to change its decisions," noting that "pressure on the Federal Court and the siding of some politicians with Kuwait will face a large popular reaction against the traitors regarding what they did to Iraq."

Al-Karawi pointed out that "whoever sold Iraq's borders to Kuwait and received billions is today trying to cover up the crime he committed."
On the other hand, former Minister Wael Abdel Latif told Al-Maalouma, “The Federal Court obligates all state institutions to implement its decisions, as only 75 representatives voted on the Khor Abdullah Agreement, which is considered a clear constitutional violation.”
He added, "This agreement was built on a mistake and may bring disasters to Iraq by all accounts, as Kuwait crossed the Iraqi border 7 times according to official maps."
Abdul Latif pointed out, “The agreement was canceled and invalidated, as Kuwait was drawing borders with the United Nations unilaterally, and as a result, all Iraqi maritime rights will be restored.”
On the other hand, independent MP Kazem Al-Touki confirmed to Al-Maalomah, “Kuwait is a neighboring country to Iraq, and there are previous problems. It is better, without tension or media escalation, and greatly aggravating the situation, for the two countries to go to resolve the issue diplomatically.”

He added, "There are historical documents and proven evidence, on the basis of which the Federal Court declared the Khor Abdullah Agreement invalid, and neither the government nor the House of Representatives has the right to violate the Federal Court's decision."
The representative of the Saud Al-Saadi Rights Movement had called on the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, to take the necessary measures and explain the reasons for the Iraqi Foreign Ministry not submitting the Federal Court’s decision to unconstitutionalize the agreement regarding Khor Abdullah signed between Iraq and Kuwait in 2013. Ended 25 n.
