Today, Friday, the Supreme Judicial Council issued a clarification after a document was circulated on social media showing the filing of a lawsuit against the supreme authority, Sayyed Ali al-Sistani.
The judiciary media stated in a statement received by “Al-Ma’louma” that, “Social media sites circulated a complaint paper submitted to the Karkh Investigation Court in which the lawyer, Aqeel Jassim Badn Al-Budairi, complained.”
The statement added, “This paper is incorrect if there is no judge named Mahmoud Hassan Al-Khafaji in the Karkh Investigation Court, in addition to the incorrectness of the seal and the expressions and terms attributed to the Supreme Judicial Council.” Ended / 25Y
