    Basra crude achieved significant weekly losses after prices witnessed a decline last week.
    Basra Heavy crude closed in its last session yesterday, Friday, with a decline of $1.60, reaching $80.79, and recorded weekly losses amounting to $10.92, equivalent to 11.91%.
    While Basra Average crude closed in its last session with a decrease of $1.60, reaching $94.66, and also recorded significant weekly losses amounting to $10.82, or the equivalent of 11.43%.
    As for Brent crude, it closed in its last session on Friday at an increase of 51 cents, reaching $84.58, but it recorded weekly losses amounting to $9.35, or 9.95%.
    US West Texas Intermediate crude closed in its last session on Friday, also rising by 48 cents, reaching a dollar per barrel, and recorded weekly losses amounting to 7.89 cents, or 8.79%.
    Oil prices fell amid fears of a slowdown in the global economy and curbing demand for fuel in light of the continued high interest rates.
