    Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Planning called for providing it with the necessary allocations schedule for ongoing and new projects and the details and costs of lagging projects.
    The Ministry’s official spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in a statement received by the Al-Ma’louma Agency, “The Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, sent a letter to the ministries and agencies not affiliated with the Ministry and all governorates to provide the Ministry of Planning with a list that includes details of the ongoing and new projects required to be included in the investment budget for the year.” 2024, and the listing requirements and contractual plans, in accordance with the government program priorities and criteria for comparison between projects.”
    He added, "The Ministry also requested to be provided with a list of lagging projects, and the necessary funding amounts to resume work on these projects during the next year 2024," stressing "the importance of completing data at the level of projects, components, and contracts, so that the Ministry can include them in the investment plan."
    He pointed out that "the Ministry has begun, as of today, discussing the investment plan for next year with the ministries and entities not affiliated with the Ministry and the governorates, according to a timetable that will last for two weeks," pointing out that "the investment plan for next year will focus on addressing development gaps, in accordance with the priorities of the government program, and solving Problems of lagging projects, and inclusion of new projects of high development and service value.
