The Parliamentary Services Committee revealed today, Monday, the suspension of about 370 service projects until the end of the provincial council elections, noting that stopping these projects is for fear of being exploited for electoral propaganda.

Committee member Baqir Al-Saadi said in an interview with Al-Ma’louma Agency, “There are fears of exploiting service projects and using them in electoral propaganda.”
He added, "His committee was instructed to monitor and hold accountable any executive official who tries to exploit the projects for electoral promotion and propaganda," noting that "there are approximately 370 projects that have been suspended until the end of the provincial council elections."
He pointed out that "the service projects approved within the budget will be handed over to the new local governments for completion without pressure."
