The Kurdistan Regional Government, today, Monday, praised the role of the European Union in providing aid to the displaced and refugees and supporting the Kurdistan Region in “difficult stages.” It called on the international community to play a greater role in preventing violence and expanding the area of wars and conflicts in the region.[/size]
[size=45]The Department of Relations in the Kurdistan Region said in a statement, “The department’s official, Sven Dizayi, received, today, Monday, the official of the European Union office in the Kurdistan Region, Torkild Bey,” noting that “the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments and growing events in the region in general and stressed the expansion of cooperation.” And coordination in various fields.”[/size]
[size=45]The statement noted that “the European official expressed his thanks to the Department of Foreign Relations in the region for providing facilities and allowing the delivery of humanitarian aid to the areas that need it.”[/size]
