The Board of Commissioners of the Communications and Media Authority voted today, Thursday (November 30, 2023), on a draft of the “Electronic Games Policy.”
A statement issued by the Commission today, received by “Baghdad Today”, stated that “the Council held its regular meeting on 11/28/2023, headed by (Bassam Salem Hussein), and the topics on its agenda were discussed and a number of decisions were taken.”
He added, "The Council took a decision regarding the regulations regulating the infrastructure of mobile phone companies, and voted on the draft electronic games policy list. The Council also approved the (ICANN) conference report submitted by Council member Abdul Azim Al-Saleh."
During the meeting, according to the statement, “a decision was taken regarding the registration of agencies and websites and a decision regarding the regulation for licensing value-added companies (VAS).”
