On Tuesday, the leader of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Ali Al-Fatlawi, called on the government and parliament to adopt a firm and decisive stance to stop the repeated American bombing operations on the headquarters of the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces.

Al-Fatlawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “Iraqi sovereignty is not complete as long as there are American military bases present on Iraqi territory without revealing to the official authorities the numbers of those present in them.”
He added, "Washington's embassy and its military bases in Iraq operate in complete secrecy, concealing the truth about the aggressive plans taking place, including targeting our security forces."
He pointed out, "The American bases continue their violations of Iraqi sovereignty by launching drones and fighter aircraft from them, as well as aerial reconnaissance operations for intelligence and information purposes."
Al-Fatlawi called on the government and parliament to "adopt a firm and decisive stance to stop targeting the headquarters of the security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces with drones and fighter planes flying from their bases in Harir and Anbar."
American forces are deployed at the Ain al-Assad and al-Harir bases in Iraq, in addition to 19 other bases in Syria. Ended/25pm
