    Information / Baghdad...
Former MP Ghaleb Muhammad called for the federal government to intervene to solve the problem of the delay in disbursing the salaries of Sulaymaniyah employees and pay attention to their requests, pointing out the importance of the Sudanese visiting Sulaymaniyah to closely examine the employees’ demands.
Muhammad told Al-Maalouma, “Sulaimaniyah employees have been demonstrating for more than two months due to the delay in disbursing their salaries without receiving any response from the executive authority.”
He added, "There is an urgent need for the Prime Minister to go to Sulaymaniyah and meet with the employees in order to meet their needs and fulfill their requests, especially with regard to the salary crisis, which is the most prominent problem within this governorate."
He stated that "Sulaimaniyah employees are demanding that their salaries be linked directly to the federal government and through the official approved banks of Al-Rafidain and Al-Rashid, instead of remaining under the authority of the Barzani government, which requires the federal government to intervene to solve the salary crisis." Earlier today, the leader of the State of Law, Saad Al-Muttalabi, confirmed that a lot of funds had been stopped from being sent by the federal government to the southern governorates, asking: “What is the justification or legal basis that the federal government relied on to send this money to the Kurdistan region?”
The Ministry of Finance of the Federal Government had announced, earlier, sending a financial loan worth 700 billion dinars to the Kurdistan Regional Government. To cover employees’ salaries. Ended/25 N
