The Ministry of Commerce confirmed, on Sunday, that it would disburse the ninth share of the food basket, along with the tenth, to families whose data had been updated after action was taken to withhold it from them as a result of their delay in updating.
Ministry of Commerce spokesman Muthanna Jabbar said, in a statement reported by the official news agency and seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “all families who visited the update centers until the first of last November and updated their data and obtained the password for their electronic cards will be returned to the basket system.” food immediately and automatically.
He pointed out that "those families will receive the tenth basket, and a compensation payment for the ninth basket will also be distributed to them."
