On Saturday, the Presidency of the House of Representatives called on members of Parliament, committees and parliamentary blocs to resume their legislative and oversight work.
The Presidency stated in a statement received by Mawazine News: “With the end of the legislative recess of the House of Representatives and the start of the first legislative term of the third legislative year, on January 9, 2024, we call on representatives, committees and parliamentary blocs to resume their legislative and oversight work.”
She added, "The date of the next regular Council session will be set, to complete the legislative and oversight duties assigned to the House of Representatives."
