    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed in Davos with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) opportunities for the Bank to support the establishment of initiatives to qualify unemployed youth.
    The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, that “Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud Basso, on the sidelines of his Excellency’s participation in the Davos Economic Forum. During the meeting, they discussed... Ways to enhance constructive cooperation between Iraq and the European Bank, in a way that contributes to supporting the government’s development plans, which aim to develop the private sector and implement financial and banking reforms for comprehensive economic reform.”
    He added, "The meeting witnessed a discussion of the possibility of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development developing its action plan in Iraq in coordination with the Ministry of Planning to ensure the mobilization of the necessary resources according to the government's priorities, and in a way that serves the stability of public finances, as well as examining opportunities for the bank to support the establishment of initiatives to rehabilitate unemployed youth." work, develop their skills and qualify them to engage in the labor market.”
