The British Ambassador to Baghdad, Stephen Hitchen, warned of the continuation of crises in the Kurdistan region, noting that if employees do not receive their salaries, this will be a threat to the stability of Kurdistan.
Hitchen said in an interview followed by Mawazine News: “If employees do not receive their salaries, This will be a threat to the stability of the Kurdistan region and Iraq, and I see this as a real problem for the region.”
Regarding holding the elections, Hitchin said, "We want these elections to be held as soon as possible, and that without the elections there will be permanent doubt about the legitimacy of the government."
