    The Presidency of the House of Representatives issued a decision today, Monday, to prevent former representatives Rehab Al-Abouda and Rezan Sheikh Deler from entering Parliament because they violated the House’s laws and regulations.

    The Presidency of Parliament said in a statement received by “Al-Sumaria News”, that “in resumption of the systematic campaign that intends to harm the House of Representatives, the House of the People, former MP Rehab Al-Abouda appeared on one of the satellite channels impersonating the position of advisor to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, even though she has since removed this capacity.” March 2022, and the Council was accused of unjustified abuses and violations.”



    She added, "Former Representative Rizan Sheikh Delir also appeared claiming cases of harassment of female representatives in the Council without providing evidence for that. Therefore, the Presidency of the House of Representatives decided to direct the Legal Affairs Department to file a complaint against former Representative Rehab Al-Abouda for impersonating an official capacity and insulting the House of Representatives and its members." In it, through one of the means of publicity and filing a complaint against the media outlet in which she appeared and the journalist who conducted the interview with her for his unprofessional performance and his repeated insults to the House of Representatives, as well as filing a complaint against former representative Rizan Sheikh Dler for insulting members of the House of Representatives and making wild accusations without evidence.

    She continued, "The Presidency of the Council also decided to prevent those who referred to them from entering the headquarters of the House of Representatives or attending official activities there."
