    Today, Monday (January 29, 2024), Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed that the loans for the “Riyada” youth initiative be made electronic to ensure speedy completion. 
    The Sudanese media office said in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that, “This morning, the Prime Minister chaired a special meeting for the (Riyada) initiative, which included the directors of the Rafidain and Al-Rashid banks, and the advisor to the Prime Minister for the Riyada initiative.” 
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani directed “Al-Rafidain and Al-Rasheed Banks to work on digitizing the loans for the (Riyada) initiative for youth, and making them electronic, in order to ensure more transparency and speed in completion.” 
    He also directed “to submit the necessary proposals to facilitate the procedures for establishing businesses and small or micro companies, to ensure their continuity and sustainability,” indicating that “following up on the (Riyada) initiative projects is necessary in order to ensure the success of these projects and contribute to their sustainability.” 
    The Prime Minister stressed "the necessity of providing adequate financial support for loans for youth projects participating in the (Riyada) initiative, and taking into account micro-projects in subsequent government budget schedules." 
    He stressed, "The digitization of project loans will contribute to marketing their products, whether on the local level or exporting products abroad, in a manner consistent with the government's goals in activating the private sector."
