His Excellency urged the international organization to encourage countries to receive their nationals from Al-Hawl camp, especially since Iraq has fulfilled its obligations to repatriate its citizens, indicating that the cooperation of countries will contribute to reducing the possibility that the camp and those in it are vulnerable to extremism and recruitment by the remnants of terrorism.
Mr. Al-Sudani also renewed his appreciation for the role of the Secretary-General of the United Nations regarding the aggression in Gaza, stressing the need for major countries and international organizations to do more to prevent the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people.
For her part, Mrs. Spoliarić Egger stressed that the Red Cross would continue its efforts to deliver aid to Gaza, work to prevent the expansion of the conflict towards the rest of the Middle East countries, and contribute to urging major countries to strengthen stability in the region and stop conflicts and violence.
