The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed today, Wednesday, that the budget will witness changes as soon as it reaches the House of Representatives.
Committee member Jamal Cougar said in a press interview, “The budget has not reached the House of Representatives, and if it is sent by the government, it will see changes in some of its paragraphs, but they will not be fundamental changes.”
He added, "The salary scale and equal employee entitlements are still just informal talk, and the House of Representatives has not received anything regarding making amendments or creating a new salary scale for the category of employees."
He stated that "the government has secured the salaries of employees and there is no problem with the monetary supply for salaries, or any concerns about securing salaries for the coming period."
