    A member of the Parliamentary Work Committee, Amir Al-Mamouri, issued a clarification regarding the reasons for cutting the social welfare salary for non-employees.

    Al-Maamouri said in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, that “stopping the salary for some beneficiaries is a temporary (precautionary) stop, and the reason for this is due to the intersection of information with traffic and national retirement,” pointing out that “some of the beneficiaries or his wife have a car whose value or model is included in the instructions.” pieces, or he may have a pension for himself or his wife.”
    He added, “The reason for cutting off is against the instructions of the Ministry of Labor because the car is considered a source of work and livelihood, and when the beneficiary owns a private car within the model here, the subsidy stops for him because there are many people who do not have a salary and they are more deserving of the subsidy than others,” noting that “if it is proven On the contrary, after the precautionary cessation of the subsidy and it becomes clear that the person does not have a wheel, the Ministry of Labor must disburse those benefits without one month’s salary being lost.”
    He pointed out, "The beneficiary whose salary was stopped because of the car can visit the Welfare Department in his governorate, where the beneficiaries will be provided with letters to the Traffic Department, some of which the department directly addressed to the Traffic Department, and after bringing an answer letter from the Traffic Department confirming that ownership of the car is no longer in the possession of the beneficiary or his wife, a car and then His salary will be released.” Ended/25
